Massive outflow from U.S. equity funds this week

lipperusfundflows reported Equity Fund (inc ETF) outflows of -$46.2 Billion in the week to 12th December. The largest single outflow in a year very often occurs in December but this week’s is massive. I’ve been writing that no obvious capitulation has been seen in this indicator but this week’s outflow takes the 4wk flow number down to -$54.57 Billion, a new extreme low.
